The Big Game 3-12-12: Twolves Bounce Back

So, let's see. Friday March 9 Ricky Rubio goes down.

Saturday the 10th the Wolves go down to the lowly New Orleans Hornets at home.

Monday the 12th the Wolves win at Phoenix 127-124, ending a 9-game losing streak to the Suns.

This was tight all the way. Phoenix led by 7 early at 21-14 in the 1st. The Wolves caught up and went ahead 63-54 late in the 2nd. In the 4th, the Wolves led by 6 at 98-92 and 100-94, Phoenix led y 4 at 111-107. The Wolves quickly went back ahead 112-111 on a Williams dunk and an Ellington 3 from Ridnour. Then there were 6 lead changes before the Wolves took the lead for good at 121-120 on a Ridnour runner.

Love hit a pair of FT at :37 to put the Wolves up by 3, and then  Ridnour hit a pair to get the lead back up to 3. Johnson hit 2 more at :10 for a 5 point lead, and Pheonix scored at the buzzer for the final score.
